Crispy Basa and Homemade Tartar Sauce
Ingredients: 1 basa fillet Neutral oil (veg, sunflower, grapeseed, peanut) Breadcrumbs Salt and pepper to taste 1/4 cup mayo 1 tbsp mustard 1 small pickle, diced 1 tsp bbq sauce (or ketchup) 1/4 tsp hot sauce 1/4 tsp paprrika Tinfoil Directions: Preheat oven to 375 F Dice pickle Brush basa fillet with neutral oil Combine breadcrumbs with salt and pepper Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture onto both sides Bake for 15 min While waiting, combine 1/4 cup mayo, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 diced pickle, 1/4 tsp hot sauce, and 1/4 tsp paprika Serve fish with sauce drizzled on top Yield: 1 fillet Source: My mother's kitchen cupboard Description: Awhile back I copied a bunch of my mother's recipes, which she has on sticky notes on the inside of a cupboard door in her kitchen.
