Ingredients 1 (15 oz) canned pumpkin puree 4 large eggs 1 cup veg oil 2/3 cups water 3 cups white sugar 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/4 tsp ground ginger Yield: 3 loaves   Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, grease and flour three 7x3 inch loaf pans In large bowl, mix together 15 oz canned pumpkin puree, 4 eggs, 1 cup veg oil, 2/3 cup water, 3 cups white sugar In a separate bowl, mix together 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp baking soda, , 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp cloves, 1/4 tsp ginger Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture until well mixed and pour into pans Bake for about 50 mins.  Source:   https://www.myorganizedchaos.net/2014/09/mini-pumpkin-pies Ingredients: 30 tart shells 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin (or pumpkin pie filling) 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp ginger 1/4 tsp cloves 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk Whipped Topping Yield: 30 tarts Instructions: In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs Add 1 and 1/2 cups canned pumpkin, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1 and 1/4 evaporated milk, blend until mixed Put tart shells on a cookie sheet, you may need two Spoon about 1/4 cup pumpkin filling into each tart shell Bake at 375 F for about 30 min Remove and add a dollop of whipped dressing to each if you like Description: It's almost October, and with the changing season comes cravings for everything pumpkin flavoured. Ingredients: -1 and 1/2 cup warm water -2 and 1/4 tsp yeast (1 package) -1 tsp table salt -1 tbsp sugar -1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and slightly cool (using salted butter doesn't do much harm though) -3 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour -Your choice of topping. Kosher salt is a classic for savory, and cinnamon-sugar is classic for sweet. The pic is using kosher salt, garlic & herb spice, and red pepper flakes Baking Soda Bath -9 cups water -1/2 cup baking soda Yield: 8 pretzels Directions: Whisk 2 and 1/4 tsp yeast, or one packet, into 1 and 1/2 cup warm water. Let sit 1 min Whisk in 1 tsp table salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp melted butter Slowly mix in 3 and 3/4 cups flour Turn onto floured surface and knead for 3 min Shape into a ball, cover with a towel, and let sit for 10 min Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Ingredients -1 & 1/2 tbsp yeast -1/4 cup sugar -1 & 1/4 tbsp salt -7 cups flour -1/4 cup oil -3 cups warm water Yields: 3 loaves Instructions: Mix together 3 cups warm water, 1 and a half tablespoons yeast, and 1/4 cup sugar, let stand 10 min Add 3 cups flour and beat for 2 min Add 4 cups flour, 1 tbsp and 1 tsp salt, 1/4 cup oil Knead for 10 min Cover and rise until doubled in size, prepare loaf pans, I rub them with margarine Punch down, knead a bit and put into loaf pans Let rise for 1/2 an hour, preheat oven to 375 degrees Bake for 50 min This feels like a good place to start this blog.
